    YCFD is doing some joint training with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry wildfire training. This training is part of the mutual aid agreement between Alberta Agriculture and Forestry and Yellowhead County.

    Due to excessive moisture conditions across the County nearly half of the crops have not yet been harvested. For this reason, producers are reminding recreational users and hunters to be aware that driving over unharvested crops will cause negative impacts.

    Getting crops off fields and tested sooner than later may help reduce damage caused by both excess moisture and unintentional external impacts.
