Situated just 30 km northeast of Edson, Bear Lake has something for everyone. From fishing to water-skiing, to relaxing on the beach, the campground is a definite local favourite. You cannot beat this unique mix of tranquillity and activity.

Please note that camping at Bear Lake is subject to a late opening due to the construction and repair of the docks.

Campsite Information: 32 Campsites including 6 Pull-Through Sites (no hook-ups) and 3 Tenting Sites, 8 Day Use Sites, a Sandy Beach, Playground, Boat Launch, 2 Boat and swimming docks.

Bear Lake Park remains one of Yellowhead County’s most popular Parks for water-based recreation. The sandy beach, clean water, and playground facilities continue to be very popular with the younger members of the family while the boat launch and docking areas play host to the more adventuresome water enthusiasts.

During the summer months, Bear Lake hosts a wide variety of interpretive events and activities for everyone in the family. A concession is available.
