The Yellowhead County 2023 Disaster After Action Report was presented at the March 6, 2024 Special Council Meeting. The full report is available to the public and the presentation to council can be viewed until Friday March 8, 2024 at 4:00 PM.

Yellowhead County is looking for residents and contractors who have equipment and are interested in working with Yellowhead County to assist in wildland firefighting efforts.
Changes to Animal Drop-Off at Edson Pound
The Edson Pound is no longer accepting drop-offs of dogs or cats found in Yellowhead County by members of the public. County Peace Officers will still be taking dogs to the pound.
The power lines and poles in your area, including a section crossing Solomon Creek, are scheduled for maintenance. Construction will take place between April 15 – June 28, 2024. See link for locations.
